This 1-day non-accredited course is ideal for maintenance personnel, trades assistants, operators, and anyone working with or around hydraulic systems who wants a basic understanding of how they operate. It is suited to those looking to develop practical skills in identifying components, recognising faults, and carrying out simple inspections and maintenance safely and effectively.
This 1-day non-accredited short course provides participants with a practical introduction to hydraulic systems, focusing on component identification, basic inspection, and fault finding. It is also well suited as a refresher for those wanting to update or reinforce existing skills in hydraulic maintenance.
Participants will learn how to recognise key hydraulic components, understand their function within a system, and identify common faults using fundamental fluid power principles. The course includes interpreting simple data sheets and circuit diagrams to support effective troubleshooting.
Through a combination of theory, demonstrations, and hands-on activities, participants will gain experience in setting up basic hydraulic circuits and performing simple inspection and maintenance tasks safely.
