We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the 1 Day non accredited Engineering Measuring Course.
This course is ideal for apprentices, trades assistants, operators, and maintenance personnel who need to develop or improve their skills in using engineering measuring tools. It is also suited to those new to the industry or experienced workers looking for a practical refresher to enhance accuracy, consistency, and confidence when taking measurements in the workplace.
This 1-day non-accredited short course provides participants with the fundamental skills and knowledge required to accurately measure and inspect components using a range of engineering measuring tools. It is also suitable as a refresher for those looking to update or reinforce their existing measurement skills.
Participants will develop an understanding of workplace safety practices and gain hands-on experience using commonly used measuring equipment. This includes scale rules and tapes, vernier callipers and height gauges, micrometres and telescopic gauges, as well as gauge blocks and digital protractors.
The course combines theory with practical activities, allowing learners to build confidence in taking accurate measurements, interpreting results, and applying these skills in real workplace scenarios.
By the end of the course, participants will have practical skills to support quality, accuracy, and consistency in engineering measurement tasks.
